Responds to the death (in 1849) of the nobleman, Mason G Stratford (5th Earl of Aldborough), who was a notorious patron of 'certain pills'. Includes a poem, 'Wanted, a Nobleman!' which seeks a nobleman who is ready to claim that a 'Popular Pill' cured him of his myriad diseases and surpassed the efforts of a litany of orthodox medical practitioners. |
