Some Autograph Introductions
Anon / T H Huxley
Genre: | Letter |
Professor Huxley Subjects: | Publishing, Science Communication |
In one of a series of reprinted letters from eminent supporters of the Review of Reviews, Huxley counsels that the editor must 'secure the services of a body of intelligent and painstaking précis writers'. He warns, 'I am not quite sure that extracts are fair to authors' because 'passages without context often give a very wrong impression of the writer's meaning' (9).
