Reports that 'The cast is now completed for the statue of the late Dr. Whewell, which Mr. Woolner has in hand for the chapel of Trinity College, Cambridge', and that the sculptor 'has been particularly happy in seizing the singular half-smile which used to add a grimness of his own to the massive features of his model' (112).
