    Shows a shoreline on which are placed some of the artefacts associated with the kinds of rational amusement promulgated by the periodical. These include a geographer's globe, an induction coil, chemical apparatus, several large volumes. Above the shore float several balloons and in the distance children ride on velocipedes.
