    Recommends to 'homeless spinsters' the Ladies' Association for the Diffusion of Sanitary Knowledge 'wherein practical instruction is given to nurses, mothers, and teachers in sanitary knowledge and in the important matter of feeding and rearing infants on scientific principles' (349).
