Notes that the Houses of Parliament 'have been constructed with such a beautiful regard to the science of Acoustics that it will be necessary for the speakers to regulate their voices in conformity with the principles of harmony'. The construction will force statesmen to speak in a specific key and prevent them from making 'abrupt changes of note'.
