Reports on the Admiralty's patenting of a device for obliterating from memory all the facts that have been stored up over the past three years, and, consequently, absorbing 'facts of a contrary tendency, to be used against the forgotten memoranda'. Believes the success of the invention will be demonstrated in the trial of 'Buron v. Denman'.
