And Doth Not a Meeting Like This. A Railway Melody

Song, Drollery

Railways, Transport, Commerce

'Sung with great applause by a Shareholder of the York and North Midland Railway', this song praises the meeting for making amends 'For all the large sums we've been squand'ring away', and describes, with much glee, the other scandalous financial activities of the railway company.
