Anon

Genre:

News-Commentary, Drollery

Subjects:

Monstrosities, Zoology, Controversy

Reports on a sighting of the 'Sea Serpent' and the South African's claim that some regard the beast to be a 'flight of sea-fowl skimming the water in single file'. Believes the latter claim leads to Richard Owen's question regarding the number of gulls needed to 'make' the beast.
