    Describes the narrator's imagined tour, with 'the gallant Colonel [a reference to Charles L W Sibthorp]', of winter gardens established in the Crystal Palace. Having formerly opposed the plans for the palace, the colonel now admires the fauna, flora, and fruit of 'foreign climates'.
