    Discusses the London Pharmacopoeia and stresses the existence of considerable differences between the same 'medicine' as prescribed in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Noting the potentially fatal nature of these medicines, concludes that 'what is one man's physic, may be another man's poison'.
