Introduces a poem by 'Molloy Molony', who is indignant at the appointment of 'a Scotch Professor [the philosopher James McCosh] to one of Her Majesty's Godless Colleges [the nondemoninational Queen's College, Belfast]'. Threatens to 'stamp under feet the base book of [Saxon] science', and hopes to study science at a college built by Nicholas P S Wiseman, John Machale ('Chume'), and Paul Cullen—namely the planned Catholic University of Ireland.
