Describes a visit to the 'Hall of Tongues' in 'Saint Patrick's Purgatory' where one speaker at a 'Monster Meeting' ridicules Isaac Newton as a 'pig-faced, ewe-neck'd brute, on whom no faith should ever take root; on whom no student e'er should pore' and asserts that Galileo Galilei, Francis Bacon (1st Viscount St Alban), John Locke and William Herschel were 'godless'.
