    Following news of the launch of a 'new weekly periodical', Wonderful Things, lists a number of developments that it would class among 'Wonderful Things'. These include 'A Government Steamer which can be at sea a whole week without being forced to put back for repairs', 'A Punctual Railway Train', 'A Glass of Thames water that you can drink without deodorising', and a 'Homeopathic practice which is not quite sine-cure'.
