    Describes the properties of 'a certain sort of Fungus' popularly known as 'German Tinder' which catches fire so easily 'that 'twas used to strike a light, / Ere the time of Congreve matches'. Wishes 'another German thing / Were as quick of inflammation', because then the German nation could be fired up to join the British against the Russians.
