    Relishes news of the campaign against 'Sparrow Clubs', which 'without mercy' slaughters thousands of sparrows—birds which perform the important function of destroying caterpillars. Also applauds the efforts of Thomas N Stephenson for doing 'gallant battle' in The Times against the slaughter of hedgehogs.
