Genre:

News-Commentary, Drollery

Subjects:

Societies, Nutrition

Reports that a member of the British Association for the Advancement of Science has sent a copy of a book entitled 'What to Eat, Drink, and Avoid' (possibly an earlier edition of La'mert 1865) to Prince Albert, expressing the hope that British Association members will be able to undertake all three activities on the association's next visit to Balmoral Castle, instead of being restricted to the last, as they were on their previous visit. Suggests that the association's answer to the question 'What to Avoid?' should be Balmoral itself.
