    Pondering the high price of a 'Milk of cucumber' treatment for sunburns, suggests that this substance is a 'solution to the problem of extracting sunbeams from cucumbers' (a reference to a chimerical scheme in Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels) and acts, 'on the Homeopathic principle that like cures like, as a remedy for sun-burns'.
