Advertises Punch's Almanack for 1860 as a cure for a wide range of medical complaints. Stresses that 'it does as much for one as any advertised quack medicine, and has, moreover, the advantage of being nice to take [....] One joke relieves, one page cures!' Appends spoof testimony from two supporters, one of whom, John Smith, claims that 'Fifty minutes' indescribable agony from reading an anti-Rifle-Movement article in the Morning Star, have been removed by buying that delightful mental food called Punch's Almanack'. |
