    Thinks the main difference between William G Armstrong's 'twelve-pounder' and Lord John Russell's 'six-pounder' is that, although 'the first is not a Whit-worth [a reference to gun manufacturer Joseph Whitworth] / The second is not Worth-a-whit'.
