    Discusses an extract from an article in the Daily Telegraph claiming that the waters of the overflowing river Theiss might 'kindle the already smouldering fires of revolution' in Hungary. Urges Michael Faraday to direct his attention to this and the Royal Institution to obtain bottles of the 'extraordinary liquid'.
