    Notes that the only way of disabling such French vessels as La Gloire is to 'foul her screw'. Therefore expects the 'next invention in naval warfare' to be a 'Screw Fouler'. Wonders whether the Admiralty will 'get the want supplied, or leave the French Marine to make another discovery involving one more "reconstruction of the Navy"'.
