    Reports that the Meteorological Society is trying to relate the appearnce of a comet to the recent wet weather and has claimed that the 'seasons are gradually getting reversed'. Discusses consequences of this claim and boasts that Punch's Almanack will be the medium through which the society presents its final calculations to the public.
