    Notes John Brady's unsuccessful attempt to 'get a Select Committee appointed to consider the Street-Railway question', observing: 'this respected Apothecary is not celebrated for his successful treatment of popular complaints, and the House would not follow his prescription, thinking perhaps that he understands Opiates better than Sleepers' (180).
