Sabbatarian Assertion

Religious Authority, Botanical Gardens

Describes a meeting of the leading members of the Presbyterian and other churches to discuss a petition to open the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, on Sundays. Considers those who oppose this petition to be 'fanatics' and strongly criticises their arguments for closing the garden.
