    Shocked by the report in the Daily Telegraph that the 'screw yacht Jerome Napoleon' has 'arrived at Waterloo Station' in the absence of Queen Victoria and Henry J Temple (3rd Viscount Palmerston), suggesting the possibility that another but more awesome vessel, the ironclad La Gloire, will arrive in England and wreak destruction on the population.
