    Discusses John R Hind's claim, based on observations at George Bishop's South Villa Observatory, Regent's Park, 'that the Sun is nearer to us than ever', pointing out that common sense dictated that the 'Sun was not Farther' and that as the sun approaches, so it may become 'more economical of its light'.
