    Notes the decision by Parliament to allow the Great Eastern Railway Company 'to have steamboats in connection with its lines' and, playing on the notorious sluggishness of steamboats, notes that its 'naval correspondent' informs Punch that the names of the new vessels will include 'Dawdle' and 'Laggard'.
