    Believes that 'Electric telegraphs and steam-boats have apparently done little for our friends across the Channel in the matter of improving their acquaintance with Great Britain', and presents evidence for this from the Daily Telegraph whose Paris correspondent reports some gross misconceptions of English behaviour.
