A proposed daily schedule for a pupil at Eton College, punishingly designed 'to prevent any Boys from "leaving Eton, in such a state of ignorance as reflects no credit upon the School"'. It includes such prescriptions as '6 a.m.—Rise. Get two propositions of Euclid by heart while washing, and solve two algebraic equations, settled overnight, while dressing', '6.—Tea, to be taken during a Lecture on Natural Science'. This is probably a response to the Report of the Royal Commission on Public Schools.
