Announcing the formation of a committee by the Royal Agricultural Society of Ireland 'to inquire into the causes of the deterioration in the breed of Irish horses', suggests that the same committee should investigate the 'more important matter' of the 'preservation of Irish Bulls' (a self-contradictory statement)—an 'invaluable species' which deserves to be encouraged for its laughter.
