The Condition of the Army Medical Officer

Anon

Genre:

News-Commentary

Subjects:

Medical Practitioners, War, Mental Illness

Delighted at news that the Royal College of Physicians is to appoint a committee to inquire into the 'condition of army medical officers', but warns that the inquiry does not appear to be 'particularly well defined'. Surmises that since the inquiry will probably not investigate 'the conditions of the army medical service', it will examine 'the conditions of the bodies' of practitioners, as well as their mental health and salaries.
