Suggests that two tiresome 'attractions'—William Banting (the corpulent writer whose works on diet were proving immensely successful), and the mediums, William H H Davenport and Ira E Davenport— should be combined. Proposes that Banting (who 'may surely count' as two men) should go into the Davenports' famous spirit 'cupboard' and 'come out two Bantings, of Davenport size, while the two Davenports should also enter and come out one Davenport, of Banting size'.
