Describes the proposals to be discussed at a 'Sanitary Conference of delegates from the Great European Powers', the aim of which is to 'prevent the generation of cholera, occasioned by the accumulations of filth which attend the periodical pilgrimages to Mecca' and similar Islamic shrines. Notes that the conference agrees that 'Fanaticism originates the evil, dirt, whence the cholera springs' and will 'strike at the root of the evil'. The conference will solve this problem by removing the Kaaba Stone from Mecca and Muhammed's coffin from Medina.
