    Referring to William E Gladstone's proposal to pacify Ireland by disestablishing the Church of Ireland, this poem describes the action of the 'Anti-Church Pills' manufactured by 'Gladstone & Co.' Boasts that the pills are a 'certain cure / Of Chronic insurrection' and 'revolution', and will 'much improve / The general constitution'.
