Anticipating the wide readership of Alfred Tennyson's 'Lucretius', which had just appeared in Macmillan's Magazine, Punch offers 'the Diner-Out' a set of questions that 'young ladies' are likely to pose about the poem. The questions include 'What is the Atomic Theory?' and 'What is cosmic order?'.
