Notes Lord Robert Montagu's introduction of a 'Contagious Diseases in Cattle Bill', which proposes the establishment of 'separate waterside markets' and the prevention of 'the admission of afflicted cattle'. Adds that the government's bill only applies to cattle after they have arrived on land, and notes the government's opposition to Montagu (110).
