Shows a scene at the Zoological Society Gardens. A crowd looks at a bear that has climbed up a long pole, and laughs because the bear has stolen, and subsequently ruined, the hat of a gentleman onlooker. The caption states that, as the phrase of the title 'is used only by the inferior creation, Mr. Punch is glad to illustrate it so appropriately'.
