    Includes advice on adulteration of goods, stressing that the author assumes tradesmen to know their business and those who teach it to them, and advises those 'tradesmen who sell articles of consumption' to read Dr. Hassall's book' (a reference to Hassall 1857), because 'His exposures will be their instructions'.
