    Rebutts the complaint made by John B Buckstone that William Shakespeare's plays are not performed frequently enough in London theatres, urging that the 'play-going portion of the British Public are in a transition state, reverting, if the Darwinian theory of development is true, degenerating whether or not, to the level of apes'.
