Discusses extracts from a report of the annual meeting of the British Anti-Tobacco Society. Challenges the claim that smokers are irreligious and 'generally tipplers'. Ridicules the notion, attested by doctors, that smoking is responsible for 'The great majority of diseases afflicting mankind'. Concludes by berating the society for its gross generalisations.
