Claims that the 'resolute ladies' who want to study surgery, anatomy, and other medical topics in 'public hospitals' are 'talking with triumph' of Giorgione's painting in the Royal Academy of Arts entitled 'A Lady Professor of Bologna'—a reference to the portrait of Maria G Agnesi. Insists that the ladies are also anticipating a painting of 'A Lady Professor of Edinburgh'.
