Problem in "Posology"

Anon

Genre:

News-Commentary, Drollery

Subjects:

Homeopathy, Medical Treatment, Pharmaceuticals

Discusses a recent 'Homœopathic Congress' in Oxford at which Dr Black of Clifton gave a paper on '"Posology", which led to an animated discussion as to the efficacy of high and low doses', a point on which homeopaths are evidently willing to meet allopaths 'half-way'. Wonders what counts as half-way between the infinitesimal doses of homeopathy and a 'common dose', and considers this to be an insoluble question.
