Anon

Genre:

Reportage, Spoof

Subjects:

Spiritualism, Botanical Gardens, Government, Politics

Claims that a 'London Correspondent of a respectable country paper states that "it is rumoured that Mr. Ayrton has turned Spiritualist"'. Adds that the report also claims that Ayrton has developed into a medium in which capacity he has 'laid out a market-garden, carved a statuette, painted a picture, made a copy of verses, and dictated (in a trance-state) a courteous official letter'.
