    Argues against the radical statesman George F Muntz's proposal to force medical practitioners to 'write their prescriptions in English'. Insists that nobody will 'have any faith in medicine' once they know the ingredients and asks, 'what on earth is a medical man to do when he wants to prescribe nothing at all, but a dose at the discretion of the chemist'.
