Treating celestial bodies as horses, suggests that the publication of a list 'of the different planets that intend to run, with the names of the astrologers who have trained them, the colour of their tails, and their pedigree'. Regards this as a solution to the problem of being told about the appearance of a comet in the middle of the night. Suggests making the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, a place for posting the list.
