    Responds to an outcry against quackery in the Lancet by noting that the quack is 'essential to the comfort' of many people and 'in fact, Physician of the Fools'. Urges that quacks should be prevented from calling themselves what they are not (medical men) and 'suffered' to call themselves what they are (quacks).
