    Claims that women prisoners demonstrate all the same 'womanly trait[s]' exhibited by women outside of gaol, and suggests that the female prisoner's maternal instincts and 'love of personal decoration' give no cause whatever for 'belief in Professor Lombroso's theory of a special criminal type'.
