    Exposes the appalling conditions at the Allgemeines Krankenhaus, Vienna, where 'For the sanctities of feminine reserve there is simply not the smallest regard shown. The patients in the obstetric ward [are] exposed in the most callous and brutal manner', and the 'dying are disturbed in their extremity to be made the subject of tutorial demonstration or of students' inspection'.
