    Relates how in 1884 the recently deceased Albert V C E, Duke of Clarence had made incognito visits to Stackpool E O'Dell's London Phrenological Institute in Brompton, and reports him as saying: 'My grandfather consulted a member of your profession concerning many of his family, and, I believe, placed much reliance in the advice given him by George Combe' (146).
